Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 August 2026. GraphCalc is built to be useful without knowing who you are. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to data when you use the site.

The short version

Your calculations run inside your own browser. We do not require an account, we set no cookies of our own, and we run no analytics or advertising at this time. We do not sell data, because we do not collect it in the first place.

Calculations stay on your device

When you plot a function, graph a polar equation, or evaluate an expression, the work happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. The equations and graphs you create are not transmitted to us or stored on a server. If you use the save or share features, your graph is encoded into a file you download or a link you choose to copy, and it only travels where you send it.

Cookies and local storage

GraphCalc does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Some tools may use your browser's local storage to remember convenience settings, such as the width of a side panel, so the site behaves the way you left it. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Information collected automatically

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like all web hosts, the hosting provider processes standard technical request data, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to serve pages and protect the service against abuse. This is a normal part of how the internet works and is handled under the host's own privacy terms. We do not use this data to identify or profile individual visitors.

Third-party services

To keep the site's typography consistent, GraphCalc loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, and in doing so Google receives your IP address. We do not share any other information with Google, and we do not use Google Analytics or Google advertising on the site. You can review how Google handles this data in Google's own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

GraphCalc is a general-audience educational tool. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect it from children.

Your choices

Since we do not build a profile of you, there is no account to delete and no personal data for us to hand over or erase. You can stop any font loading and local storage by using your browser's privacy controls or an extension of your choice, and the calculators will still work.

Changes to this policy

If the site changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if analytics or advertising are added later, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be described here rather than applied quietly.
